Fabric is a Minecraft mod loader commonly used for performance mods, as well as Simple Voice Chat. This page will show you how to install and use the Fabric mod loader.
Installing Fabric
This guide will show how to install Fabric on the most common Minecraft launchers. This guide excludes "performance" launchers such as Lunar Client, as those generally come with Fabric pre-installed.
Vanilla Launcher
First, download the Fabric installer from the following website:
https://fabricmc.net/use/installer/
After downloading the installer, open it and select the Minecraft version you wish to use, and click "Install". Ensure that "Create Profile" is checked. Afterwards, open the Minecraft Launcher, select the Fabric profile, and click "Play".
After Fabric has been loaded once, a Mods folder will be generated in your .minecraft folder, which you may place mod jar files in to install mods.
Prism Launcher
Installing Fabric on Prism Launcher is very easy. First, right click and select "Create Instance". Then, simply select the Minecraft version you wish to use, and select "Fabric" under "Mod Loader". Then click "OK", and you are done.
